Monkshood flowers trackside along the White Pass & Yukon Route line. This scene took place at the Glacier Station on the WP&YR, near the North end of the Tongass National Rainforest. The Laughton Glacier Valley is sheltered from the North/South prevailing winds, and is often the best spot for wildflowers along the railroad’s line.
